Cody McNaughton, Tanner Richard, Scott Kosmachuk and Ryan Horvat each had a goal and an assist for the Storm (37-21-5) while Brock McGinn and Zack Mitchell added single goals.
Colin Miller and Sergey Tolchinksy scored for the Greyhounds (34-24-6), who have dropped back-to-back games, and Matt Murray turned away 37-of-43 shots in defeat.
Guelph went 0 for 8 on the power play while Sault Ste. Marie failed to score on seven chances with the man advantage.
