Peterson scores tiebreaker to lift Calgary Hitmen over Prince Albert Raiders 4-3

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Rookie forward Elliott Peterson broke a 3-3 third period tie with 7:25 remaining lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders Wednesday in the WHL.

Peterson scored a pair of goals while Chase Clayton and Cody Sylvester both had a goal and an assist for the Hitmen (42-20-5), who rallied from 3-1 second-period deficit to win their second straight.

Chris Driedger made 38 saves for Calgary, which clinched home ice advantage in the opening round of the playoffs with a start date to be announced later this month.

Jonas Knutsen, Mark McNeill and Leon Draisaitl scored the goals for the Raiders (35-26-6). Luke Siemens had 28 saves for Prince Albert.
