Justin Paulic makes 37 saves as Moose Jaw beats Swift Current 2-1

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - The Moose Jaw Warriors scored twice in the opening period and held on for a 2-1 victory over the Swift Current Broncos Wednesday in WHL action

Justin Paulic turned back 37 shots for the Warriors (23-34-10), who won their second in a row.

Brandon Potomak scored his fifth of the season 31 seconds after the opening faceoff, and he assisted on Brayden Point's goal at 14:03 that made it 2-0 Moose Jaw. Point's goal was his 19th of the season.

Chance Lund had the Broncos (32-29-7) lone goal when he picked up his 15th goal of the season 2:53 into the second period.

Swift Current goalie Eetu Laurikainen made 22 saves

Both teams were 0 for 2 on the power play.
