Blues recall goaltender Jake Allen from AHL
St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong announced early Wednesday morning that the club has recalled goaltender Jake Allen from the Peoria Rivermen, the team's American Hockey League affiliate.

St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong announced early Wednesday morning that the club has recalled goaltender Jake Allen from the Peoria Rivermen, the team's American Hockey League affiliate.

Allen, 22, has appeared in five games with the Blues this season. He is 3-1-0 with a 2.62 goals-against average and .895 save percentage.

In 34 games with Peoria, the 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has a record of 13-18-2 with a 2.92 GAA, .904 save percentage and two shutouts.

The Fredericton, New Brunswick, native was selected by the Blues in the second round (No. 34) of the 2008 NHL Draft.
