Buonassisi scores twice, Honey stops 36 shots as Wheat Kings end winless streak

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Nick Buonassisi scored twice and Curtis Honey stopped 36-of-38 shots as the Brandon Wheat Kings doubled up the host Prince Albert Raiders 4-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Tim McGauley had a goal and an assist for the Wheat Kings (22-38-6), who ended a six-game winless streak, and Jayce Hawryluk added a single goal.

Dakota Conroy and Anthony Bardaro scored for the Raiders (35-24-6) and Luke Siemens made 24 saves in defeat.

Brandon went 0 for 4 on the power play while Prince Albert failed to score on its only chance with the man advantage.
