Roy has goal, 2 assists and Stars earn 4-1 victory over Blues

DALLAS - Derek Roy had a goal and two assists and Kari Lehtonen made 25 saves to help lead the Dallas Stars to a 4-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Sunday.

Loui Eriksson, Jaromir Jagr and Erik Cole also scored for Dallas.

For Cole, it was his first goal with Dallas in his second game with the team since he was acquired in a trade with Montreal last week.

The Stars also played impressive team defence, giving up just one goal after a deflating 5-1 loss at home against Edmonton on Thursday.

Lehtonen was strong after the Edmonton loss, which was his first game back after missing five because of a groin strain.

David Perron scored for St. Louis and Brian Elliott made 23 saves for the Blues.

The Blues lost for the first time in regulation in their past five road games (3-1-1) and are still 6-3-1 away from home.

Quote of the Day

Your team is going to want to recapture the feeling. What they're going to have to figure out is they're going to have to rewrite the story. Because you're going to rewrite the story doesn't mean you want a different end. It's just that you're going to have to learn that there's different challenges to get there, and if you're going to try and tap the same feeling, it ain't going to happen.
