REGINA - Trent Ouellette scored with 16 seconds remaining in extra time as the Regina Pats edged the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.
Morgan Klimchuk and Braden Christoffer scored in regulation for the Pats (22-35-7), who won for the first time in three outings, while Dyson Stevenson chipped in with two assists.
Sam Fioretti and Justin Kirsch scored for the Warriors (21-33-10), who have dropped three games in a row and sit 14 points out of the final playoff spot in the East.
Matt Hewitt stopped 41 shots for the win as Justin Paulic turned away 24-of-27 shots in a losing cause.
Regina went 1 for 4 on the power play while Moose Jaw failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
