Siemens makes 22 saves as Prince Albert Raiders hammer Regina Pats 7-0

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Luke Siemens made 22 saves and Carson Perreaux had a goal and two assists as the Prince Albert Raiders hammered the Regina Pats 7-0 on Wednesday in the WHL.

Leon Draisaitl, Davis Vandane, Dakota Conroy, Josh Morrissey, Shane Danyluk and Jonas Knutsen had the other goals for the Raiders (35-23-6), who converted twice on the power play out of four opportunities.

Teagan Sacher stopped 34 of 41 shots for the Pats (21-35-7).

Quote of the Day

I downplayed the first one because I thought it's just a hockey game. We just want to win the game; it's against our rival and we want the two points. I downplayed it, but now having gone through the first one I look back and say, 'Geez, that was really cool.' I think as I've grown a bit older I've got a lot more appreciation for what we're allowed to do every day.
