Bartosak makes 32 saves as the Rebels blank the Hurricanes

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Patrik Bartosak stopped 32 shots for his third shutout of the season as the Red Deer Rebels blanked the host Lethbridge Hurricanes 2-0 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Turner Elson and Dominik Volek scored for the Rebels (33-22-6), who extended their win streak to four games.

Ty Rimmer stopped 28-of-29 shots as the Hurricanes (25-27-9) dropped their fifth game in a row.

Red Deer went 1 for 3 on the power play while Lethbridge failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.

Volek scored on the power play at 10:03 of the first period before Volek added an insurance goal into an empty net at 19:59 of the third period.
