Predators' Rich Clune fined more than $1,400 for boarding Avalanche forward Aaron Palushaj

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Nashville Predators forward Rich Clune has been fined $1,452.70 by the NHL on Wednesday for boarding Colorado Avalanche forward Aaron Palushaj.

The incident occurred at 12:32 of the first period of Colorado's 6-5 win on Monday. Clune was assessed a minor penalty for boarding.

The fine is the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement.

Quote of the Day

I remember the first time at Wrigley Field all of us had the long johns, the turtlenecks and the extra equipment because we were afraid of being cold. Halfway through the first period everybody's ripping everything off and we just ended up wearing what we would normally wear for a game at the United Center.
