CALGARY - Zane Jones scored twice and Victor Rask had three assists as the Calgary Hitmen downed the visiting Regina Pats 5-2 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action.

Colten Mayor, Brady Brassart and Pavlo Padakin also scored for the Hitmen (39-17-4), who have won back-to-back contests.

Morgan Klimchuk and Lane Scheidl scored for the Pats (20-33-6), who have lost three games in a row and six of their last seven.

Calgary's back-up goaltender Mack Shields only had to make 13 saves for the win as Teagan Sacher stopped 23 shots in a losing cause for Regina.

The Hitmen went 2 for 5 on the power play while the Pats scored once on five chances with the man advantage.

Quote of the Day

You know what? We've played in some pretty special buildings along this playoff run so far. You start in Detroit, you go to Montreal, you come here … I think it's the first team to beat three Original Six teams to get to the Final if I'm not mistaken. That says how tough the road has been. Those are tough places to win.
