Anderson makes 40 saves as the Sting double up the Generals

SARNIA, Ont. - JP Anderson stopped 40-of-42 shots as the Sarnia Sting doubled up the visiting Oshawa Generals 4-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Reid Boucher, Bryan Moore, Nickolas Latta and Alex Basso scored for the Sting (32-22-3) while Anthony DeAngelo chipped in with two assists.

Scott Laughton scored on a penalty shot and added an assist for the Generals (32-20-4), who had their three-game win streak halted, and Bradley Latour scored the other.

Daniel Altshuller made 15 saves in a losing cause.

Sarnia went 2 for 6 on the power play while Oshawa failed to score on either of its chances with the man advantage.
