Subban, Gaunce each score three times as the Bulls down the Wolves

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Jordan Subban had three goals and an assist as the Belleville Bulls came from behind to beat the visiting Sudbury Wolves 7-5 on Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Brendan Gaunce added a hat trick of his own for Belleville (34-14-6), which trailed 4-1 midway through the second period, while Daniil Zharkov scored the other.

Ray Huether, Nathan Pancel, Mathew Campagna, Dominik Kahun and Matt Schmalz all scored for Sudbury (25-19-11), which was outshot 27-4 in the second period.

Malcolm Subban started in goal for the Bulls, but was pulled after allowing four goals on 16 shots through 30 minutes of action. Charlie Graham replaced Subban and earned the victory after stopping 6-of-7 shots. Wolves' goaltender Franky Palazzese turned away 40-of-46 shots in a losing cause.

Belleville went 1 for 3 on the power play while Sudbury scored once on two chances with the man advantage.
