QMJHL Roundup: Jonathan Drouin leads Mooseheads over Rocket 7-0

HALIFAX - Jonathan Drouin scored three times and Zachary Fucale stopped 30 shots Tuesday as the Halifax Mooseheads shut out the P.E.I. Rocket 7-0 in the lone game in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Luca Ciampini added a goal and two assists for Halifax (43-6-3), while Konrad Abeltshauser and Stephen MacAulay each chipped in with a goal and an assist.

Darcy Ashley had the other goal for the Mooseheads, who got two assists each Matthew Boudreau and Stefan Fournier.

Halifax was without the injured Nathan MacKinnon, who is expected to miss up to two weeks with a leg injury.

Antoine Bibeau allowed six goals on 30 shots for P.E.I. (30-21-2) before being replaced by Maxime Legace midway through the third period.

Legace finished with five saves the rest of the way.

Quote of the Day

He's, believe it or not, actually one of my favorite guys, and I've ended up trading him twice. I appreciate what he's done. He was one year away from being an unrestricted free agent, and I felt with this opportunity, that it was a chance that we were able to get somebody for him in Nick Bonino and Adam Clendening.
