Cobbold scores twice as the Steelheads double up the IceDogs

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Spenser Cobbold scored twice to lead the Mississauga Steelheads to a 4-2 victory over the visiting Niagara IceDogs on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Stuart Percy had a goal and two assists for the Steelheads (24-24-4) while Dylan DeMelo recorded a goal and an assist.

Steven Shipley and Jordan Maletta scored for the IceDogs (25-24-2).

Spencer Martin made 30 saves for the win as Brent Moran turned aside 25 shots in a losing cause

Mississauga went 3 for 5 on the power play while Niagara scored once on five chances with the man advantage

The Steelheads are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference, two points behind the sixth-place IceDogs.
