PITTSBURGH, États-Unis - Les Penguins de Pittsburgh ont échangé le défenseur Ben Lovejoy aux Ducks d'Anaheim en retour d'un choix de cinquième ronde en 2014.
La transaction a été annoncée par le directeur général des Penguins, Ray Shero, mercredi soir.
Lovejoy avait disputé seulement trois rencontres cette saison avec les Penguins. Il n'avait toujours pas récolté de point et affichait un différentiel de moins-2.
Âgé de 28 ans, l'Américain a participé à 98 matchs en carrière dans la LNH, tous avec les Penguins. Il a inscrit quatre buts et 21 aides.
