Crosby was jockeying for position in front of the Islanders' net when a shot from the point by teammate hit him in the face, drawing blood. Play was quickly stopped and Crosby was helped off the ice by a trainer, with a towel over his face.
Crosby shortly returned to the bench and took his next shift.
He's only 17 but he can see the ice so well and he moves the puck and goes to the open ice all the time, so I just think he's a player that is ready to play in the NHL. I'm really looking forward to coaching someone like this.
