ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Rookie Daniil Tarasov scored twice, including the winner with 91 seconds left in regulation, as the Worcester Sharks came back to beat the St. John's IceCaps 3-2 in American Hockey League action Tuesday.
Tarasov completed the comeback for Worcester when he tipped a shot from Tim Kennedy past IceCaps goaltender Ed Pasquale.
Bracken Kearns scored the game-tying goal at 16:42 of the third period and added two assists. Kennedy assisted on all three goals for Worcester (21-18-6).
Well, for me this one's concerning, the way we performed. Because three games in, playing a desperate team on the road, I was expecting something else than this. Right now, I'm just disappointed. The other games, I thought we did some things that you can build off your game. There wasn't a lot accomplished in tonight's game.
