ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Rookie Daniil Tarasov scored twice, including the winner with 91 seconds left in regulation, as the Worcester Sharks came back to beat the St. John's IceCaps 3-2 in American Hockey League action Tuesday.
Tarasov completed the comeback for Worcester when he tipped a shot from Tim Kennedy past IceCaps goaltender Ed Pasquale.
Bracken Kearns scored the game-tying goal at 16:42 of the third period and added two assists. Kennedy assisted on all three goals for Worcester (21-18-6).
Jason Jaffray scored both goals for St. John's (21-23-3).
