ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Anaheim Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler left Saturday night’s game against the Los Angeles Kings with an upper-body injury.

Fowler was driven into the boards by Jarret Stoll at 16:31 of the second period. He stayed on his knees and was assisted to the trainer’s room. The team announced before the third period that Fowler was doubtful to return.

Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau could not update Fowler's condition after the game, as the latter was still being examined by team doctors.

Fowler, 21, leads Anaheim with 22:18 minutes of ice time per game.
