Stromwall scores in regulation and shootout as Americans edge Silvertips

EVERETT, Wash. - Justin Feser and Malte Stromwall scored in the shootout as the Tri-City Americans edged the host Everett Silvertips 2-1 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Stromwall also scored in regulation for the Americans (30-19-3) while Luke Lee-Knight stopped 21-of-22 shots for the victory.

Logan Aasman scored the lone goal for the Silvertips (21-28-4), who have dropped three games in a row, and Daniel Cotton made 24 saves in defeat.

Neither club could produce on the power play as Tri-City went 0 for 4 and Everett 0 for 6.
