D'Agostini makes 31 saves as the Petes double up the Spirit

SAGINAW, Mich. - Andrew D'Agostini stopped 31 shots as the Peterborough Petes doubled up the host Saginaw Spirit 4-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Brandon Devlin, Jonatan Tanus, Josh Maguire and Derek Mathers scored for the Petes (16-27-7) while Greg Betzhold and Peter Ceresnak each chipped in with two assists.

Garret Ross and Jimmy Lodge scored for the Spirit (24-21-5), who lost for the first time in four outings, and Eric Locke had two assists.

Nikita Serebryakov made 27 saves in a losing cause.

Peterborough went 0 for 3 on the power play while Saginaw scored on its only chance with the man advantage.
