McPhee scores winner in 10th round of SO as Ice edge Warriors

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Zach McPhee scored the winner in the 10th round of the shootout as the Kootenay Ice edged the host Moose Jaw Warriors 3-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Sam Reinhart had a goal and an assist for the Ice (21-25-1), who extended their win streak to four games, and Jaedon Descheneau added a single goal.

Kendal McFaull scored both goals for the Warriors (14-24-9), who are winless in their last nine games.

Mackenzie Skapski stopped 22 shots for the win as Justin Paulic made 23 saves in defeat.

Kootenay went 0 for 1 on the power play while Moose Jaw scored once on two chances with the man advantage.
