SAGINAW, Mich. - Dane Fox scored once and set up two more as the Erie Otters doubled up the host Saginaw Spirit 4-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Jimmy McDowell, Stephen Harper and Connor McDavid also scored for the Otters (15-23-7), who won for the first time in four outings, and J.P. Labardo chipped in with three assists.
Justin Kea and Eric Locke scored for the Spirit (21-20-5), who had their win streak halted at six games.
Devin Williams made 28 saves for the win as Jake Paterson turned away 25 shots in a losing cause.
Erie went 1 for 4 on the power play while Saginaw scored once on six chances with the man advantage.
