Pasquale makes 28 saves as St. John's IceCaps shut out Norfolk Admirals 1-0

NORFOLK, Va. - Eddie Pasquale stopped all 28 shots he faced Saturday as the St. John's IceCaps shut out the Norfolk Admirals 1-0 in the American Hockey League.

Spencer Machacek scored the only goal for St. John's (17-20-3), with Maxime Macenauer and Jason Jaffray picking up the assists.

Viktor Fasth made 19 saves in taking the loss for Norfolk (17-20-3).

Both teams had a rough night on the power play. The IceCaps were a dismal 0-for-8, while the Admirals weren't much better after going scoreless on their five chances with the man advantage.

Quote of the Day

Your team is going to want to recapture the feeling. What they're going to have to figure out is they're going to have to rewrite the story. Because you're going to rewrite the story doesn't mean you want a different end. It's just that you're going to have to learn that there's different challenges to get there, and if you're going to try and tap the same feeling, it ain't going to happen.
