Sparks stops 24 shots for fifth shutout of the season

OTTAWA - Garret Sparks stopped 24 shots for his league-leading fifth shutout of the season as the Guelph Storm blanked the host Ottawa 67's 6-0 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Tanner Richard and Daniel Poliziani each had a goal and two assists for the Storm (25-14-5), who extended their win streak to four games, as Andrey Pedan, Brock McGinn, Cody McNaughton and Scott Kosmachuk each scored once.

Clint Windsor turned away 47-of-53 shots for the 67's (12-31-3), who are winless in four outings.

Guelph went 2 for 7 on the power play while Ottawa failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
