Oilers acquire Fistric from Stars for draft pick
Edmonton Oilers acquire Mark Fistric from Dallas Stars in exchange for a third-round selection in the 2013 NHL Draft.

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired defenseman Mark Fistric from the Dallas Stars in exchange for a third-round selection in the 2013 NHL Draft.

The 26-year-old Fistric was taken by the Stars in the first round (No. 26) back in 2004 and played his entire five-year career with the team, totaling three goals, 23 points and 220 penalty minutes in 257 games.

The Edmonton native had two assists and 41 penalty minutes in 60 games for the Stars last season.
