OSHAWA, Ont. - Jaroslav Pavelka turned away 29-of-30 shots as the Windsor Spitfires downed the host Oshawa Generals 3-1 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Kerby Rychel and Alexander Khokhlachev each had a goal and an assist for the Spitfires (16-19-7), who led 3-0 after 20 minutes of play, and Ben Johnson scored what proved to be the eventual game winner.
Scott Sabourin scored the lone goal for the Generals (24-16-3), who lost for the first time in three outings, and Daniel Altshuller stopped 22 shots in a losing cause.
Windsor went 1 for 1 on the power play while Oshawa failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
