Honey 32 saves, Walters three points as the Wheat Kings end their winless streak

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Curtis Honey stopped 32 shots and Nick Walters had three assists as the Brandon Wheat Kings downed the host Moose Jaw Warriors 6-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Nick Buonassisi had a goal and an assist for the Wheat Kings (15-25-4), who halted a five-game winless streak, and Rene Hunter, Taylor Cooper, Chad Robinson, Tim McGauley and Jens Meilleur each scored once.

Bryson Gore and Justin Kirsch scored for the Warriors (14-23-7), who dropped their sixth straight game, and Justin Paulic turned aside 32 shots in a losing cause.

Brandon went 1 for 4 on the power play while Moose Jaw scored once on six chances with the man advantage.
