Kosmachuk scores twice as the Storm beat the Colts

GUELPH, Ont. - Scott Kosmachuk scored two goals as the Guelph Storm downed the visiting Barrie Colts 3-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Patrick Watling also scored for the Storm (22-14-5), who halted a four-game winless streak, while Garret Sparks turned aside 24-of-26 shots for the victory.

Steven Beyers and Tyson Fawcett scored for the Colts (27-13-1), who lost for the first time in three outings, and Alex Fotinos made 24 saves in a losing cause.

Guelph failed to score on seven chances with the man advantage while Barrie went 1 for 6.
