Lowry supplies offence as the Broncos down the Hurricanes in SO

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Adam Lowry scored twice in regulation and once in the shootout as the Swift Current Broncos edged the host Lethbridge Hurricanes 3-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Graham Black also scored in the shootout for the Broncos (18-20-5), who snapped a three-game winless streak, and Reece Scarlett chipped in with two assists.

Daniel Johnston and Sam Mckechnie scored for the Hurricanes (19-18-6).

Landon Bow made 34 saves for the victory as Ty Rimmer stopped 39 shots in a losing cause.

Swift Current went 1 for 4 on the power play while Lethbridge scored once on five chances with the man advantage.
