EVERETT, Wash. - Reid Petryk scored twice, including the winner on a penalty shot at 17:16 of the third period, as the Everett Silvertips edged the visiting Spokane Chiefs 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Petryk earned the penalty shot after being tripped up from behind by Spokane defenseman Reid Gow while on a breakaway.

Quote of the Day
