Charles Sarault scored twice and added three assists as the Sarnia Sting downed the visiting Windsor Spitfires 8-5 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
The 20-year-old extended his point streak to seven games and he's scored four goals and 13 assists in the process. Sarault now has 14 goals and 61 points in 38 games, which moves him into a tie with Alex Galchenyuk for the team lead in points.
Nikolay Goldobin had two goals and two assists for the Sting (22-13-3), who have won back-to-back contests, while Reid Boucher and Anthony DeAngelo contributed a goal and two assists apiece.
Boucher now has seven goals and 15 points in his last seven games.
Taki Pantziris and Bryan Moore also scored for Sarnia and Pantziri's goal was the first of his OHL career.
Patrick Sanvido scored a single goal to round out Windsor's offence.
Knick Dawe, who replaced starter JP Anderson to start the second period, turned aside 28 shots for his first OHL victory. Jordan DeKort allowed four goals on 15 shots through 40 minutes of action and was replaced by Jaroslav Pavelka, who picked up the loss after allowing three goals on 21 shots in the third period.
Sarnia went 1 for 2 on the power play while Windsor went 1 for 3.

At Sarnia, Ont., Goldobin opened the scoring 6:53 into the first period and Pantziris, Moore and Sarault each added another to make it 4-0 Sarnia after 20 minutes of action.
Johnson scored back-to-back goals in the second period to cut the Sting's lead in half, however DeAngelo responded to make it 5-2 Sarnia with less than four minutes to play in the period.
Sanvido scored late in the second for Windsor and Ebert made it a one-goal game early in the third period, but Boucher squashed any chance of a comeback when he scored 50 seconds after Ebert.
Ebert brought the Spitfires within one goal, again, at 8:57, but Goldobin and Sarault added late goals to secure a Sarnia victory.

At Erie, Pa., Connor Brown scored the only goal at 3:46 of the third period and Devin Williams turned aside 22 shots as the Otters (13-21-5) blanked Barrie (25-12-1).

At Plymouth, Mich., Owen Sound came back to tie the game after trailing by three goals, however Gianluca Curcuruto's second power-play goal of the game with 13 seconds left in the third period lifted the Whalers (18-12-7) over the Attack (25-10-3).

At Kitchener, Ont., Brent Pederson, Keli Grant and Eric Ming all scored in the shootout and Franky Palazzese stopped 45 shots as the Rangers (21-12-5) beat Peterborough (11-24-5) to halt their five-game winless streak on home ice.

At Mississauga, Ont., Dylan Smoskowitz scored a pair of goals and Tyson Teichmann made 18 saves as the Steelheads (20-14-3) downed Niagara (22-16-2), which has dropped back-top-back contests.
