REGINA - Morgan Klimchuk scored the winner in the shootout as the Regina Pats edged the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.
Trent Ouellette and Jack Rodewald scored in regulation time for the Pats (16-21-4), who have won three straight games, and Matt Hewitt made 26 saves for the win.
Jacob Doty and Elgin Pierce scored for the Tigers (17-20-3) as Cam Lanigan turned aside 31 shots in a losing cause.
Regina went 1 for 6 on the power play while Medicine Hat scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
