TORONTO - Canada's win over Russia on New Year's Eve was the most watched round-robin game of the world junior hockey championship, with 2.5 million viewers over TSN's live and encore broadcasts.

A total of 6.4 million Canadians watched some part of the game, said TSN on Wednesday.

More than 8.3 million Canadians have watched some part of Canada's round-robin games at the tournament.
