Parker Bowles scores twice as Tri-City blows past Spokane Chiefs 6-3

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Parker Bowles scored twice and the Tri-City Americans had four straight goals in the third period to defeat the Spokane Chiefs 6-3 in Western Hockey League action Monday.

Drydn Dow, Beau McCue, Marcus Messier and Connor Rankin also scored for the Americans (21-14-3).

Brenden Kichton, Blake Gal and Mitch Holmberg replied for the Chiefs (24-12-1).

Tri-City goaltender Eric Comrie made 30 saves, while at the other end of the ice Eric Williams stopped 27 shots.
