KENT, Wash. - Austin Lotz stopped 38-of-39 shots as the Everett Silvertips edged the host Seattle Thunderbirds 2-1 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.
Kohl Bauml scored the winning goal at 10:53 of the third period for the Silvertips (14-22-2) while Carson Stadnyk added the other goal. Ryan Harrison chipped in with two assists.
Alexander Delnov scored the lone goal for the Thunderbirds (16-18-2), who are winless in six games, and Brandon Glover made 28 saves in defeat.
Everett went 0 for 3 on the power play while Seattle failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
