Brassard and Gaunce three points each as the Bulls double up the Storm

GUELPH, Ont. - Austen Brassard and Brendan Gaunce each had a goal and two assists as the Belleville Bulls doubled up the host Guelph Storm 6-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Joseph Cramarossa had a goal and an assist for the Bulls (19-11-4), who won for the first time in three outings, while Chad Heffernan, Carter Sandlak and Jake Cardwell each scored once.

Zac Leslie, Hunter Garlent and Brock McGinn scored for the Storm (20-10-4), who have lost three games in a row, and Matt Finn picked up an assist on each of his club's goals.

Charlie Graham made 34 saves for the win as Keegan Wilson took the loss after allowing five goals on 25 shots through 35 minutes of action. Jason DaSilva replaced Wilson and stopped 7-of-8 shots in relief.

Quote of the Day

The groove of being behind a bench is going to be interesting at first, but thank God we have a few exhibition games to get rid of those cobwebs. Overall the excitement of it all and the freshness and coming back refreshed, all those things are going to be assets. If [the players] come ready to give their best effort in practice and games, good things are going to happen. I'm always looking for results. It's not always on the scoreboard. It's winning and building something.
