CHICAGO - Darren Haydar scored to lift the Chicago Wolves past the Abbotsford Heat 3-2 in American Hockey League play Sunday.
Haydar's power-play goal 57 seconds into the third period was the last of three unanswered goals by the Wolves (14-11-4), who also got goals from Andrew Ebbett and Jordan Schroeder.
Abbotsford (16-9-6) had an early 2-0 lead after Roman Horak scored shorthanded 2:06 into the first and Paul Byron added another on the power play nine minutes later.
But Ebbett scored with the man advantage at 17:39, and Schroeder tied the game in the second period.
Chicago goaltender Joe Cannata made 14 saves, while at the other end Barry Brust stopped 33 shots.
