REGINA - Tanner Eberle scored twice to help the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Regina Pats 4-3 on Thursday in the Western Hockey League.

Chandler Stephenson scored twice for Regina (13-21-4). Morgan Klimchuk has a goal as well, while Lane Scheidl helped out with two assists for the Pats.

Thirty seconds into the third Brown added to Moose Jaw's lead to make it 3-0.

Regina then battled back with two goals from Stephenson and one from Klimchuk with goalie Matt Hewitt pulled and just 27 seconds on the clock.

McCarthy’s power-play goal proved to be the eventual winner.

Justin Paulic made 26 saves for the win. Hewitt turned away 21 shots.

Quote of the Day

He seemed to thrive on his own and didn't really need any push from me. I certainly don't want to get in the way of the coaches. You see how that goes sometimes. I never really worried about it and just enjoyed the ride.
