Trocheck with four points as the Spirit double up the Spitfires 6-3

SAGINAW, Mich. - Vincent Trocheck scored twice and setup two more as the Saginaw Spirit doubled up the visiting Windsor Spitfires 6-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Garret Ross, Justin Kea, Eric Locke and Jimmy Lodge had a goal and an assist each for the Spirit (14-16-5), who won for the first time in three outings, while Dalton Young and Andrey Alexeev chipped in with two assists apiece.

Emerson Clark and Josh Ho-Sang each had a goal and an assist for the Spitfires (14-14-6) and Adam Bateman added a single goal.

Nikita Serebryakov stopped 38 shots for the victory as Jordan DeKort allowed three goals on 10 shots and was pulled 12 minutes into the game. Jaroslav Pavelka stopped 32-of-35 shots in 47 minutes of relief, but picked up the loss.

Saginaw went 2 for 6 on the power play while Windsor scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.
