Rimmer stops 29 shots as the Hurricanes double up the Blazers

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Ty Rimmer turned aside 29 shots as the Lethbridge Hurricanes doubled up the visiting Kamloops Blazers 4-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.

Sam Mckechnie, Brady Ramsay, Craig Leverton and Jaimen Yakubowski scored for the Hurricanes (17-15-5).

Chase Souto and Aspen Sterzer scored for the Blazers (25-9-3), who have dropped back-to-back games, while Taran Kozun made 31 saves in a losing cause.

Lethbridge went 3 for 10 on the power play as Kamloops scored once on three chances with the man advantage.
