Alexander Gogolev's three points leads Royals over Thunderbirds 6-2

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Alexander Gogolev scored two goals and added an assist Tuesday to lead the Victoria Royals to a 6-2 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Western Hockey League.

Goglev now has 13 goals on the season for Victoria (17-13-1), winners of two in a row.

Jamie Crooks, Logan Fisher, Austin Carroll and Brett Cole also scored for the Royals.

Seattle (16-15-1) got goals from Roberts Lipsbergs and Connor Sanvido.

Victoria outshot Seattle 43-31 in the game and converted on 3-of-7 power-play opportunities to make a winner of goaltender Patrik Polivka, who ran his record to 14-7-1 on the season.

Brandon Glover made 37 saves in taking the loss.
