Murphy scores twice as the Spitfires down the Generals

WINDSOR, Ont. - Trevor Murphy scored twice, including the game winner, and Jaroslav Pavelka made 24 saves as the Windsor Spitfires defeated the visiting Oshawa Generals 3-2 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Kerby Rychel had the other goal for the Spitfires (14-12-6), who extended their season-high win streak to four games, while Brady Vail and Nick Ebert both chipped in with a pair of assists.

Michael Dal Colle and Bradley Latour replied for the Generals (17-12-3) and Daniel Altshuller made 21 saves in a losing effort.

Windsor went 2 for 8 on the power play while Oshawa scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.
