Lofthouse scores three times as the Silvertips beat the Giants

EVERETT, Wash. - Trent Lofthouse scored three times to lead the Everett Silvertips to a 4-1 victory over the visiting Vancouver Giants on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.

Landon Oslanski also scored for the Silvertips (12-20-2), who snapped a three-game winless streak, while Mirco Mueller chipped in with two assists.

Tanner Moar scored the lone goal for the Giants (8-22-0), who have lost all four meetings with Everett this season

Austin Lotz made 20 saves for the win as Liam Liston stopped 26 shots in a losing cause.

Everett went 1 for 4 on the power play while Vancouver failed to score on either of its chances with the man advantage.
