Ramsay with three points as the Hurricanes crush the Ice

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Brady Ramsay scored twice and added an assist as the Lethbridge Hurricanes downed the visiting Kootenay Ice 6-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Graham Hood had a goal and two assists for the Hurricanes (16-14-5) while Russell Maxwell and Jaimen Yakubowski had a goal and an assist each.

Jay Merkley scored a single goal to round out Lethbridge's offence.

Luke Philp scored for the Ice (9-19-1), who have dropped seven of their last 10 outings.

Christopher Tai made 19 saves for the win as Mackenzie Skapski turned away 28-of-34 shots in a losing cause.

Lethbridge went 3 for 4 on the power play while Kootenay scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
