Skapski stops 37 shots as the Ice down the Raiders 3-2

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Mackenzie Skapski stopped 37 shots as the Kootenay Ice downed the visiting Prince Albert Raiders 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Jaedon Descheneau had a goal and an assist for the Ice (9-18-1), who halted a three-game slide, and Sam Reinhart and Levi Cable each scored once.

Davis Vandane and Josh Morrissey each had a goal and an assist for the Raiders (20-10-2) as Andy Desautels turned away 24 shots in a losing cause.

Kootenay failed to score with four chances on the man advantage while Prince Albert went 1 for 4.
