KITCHENER, Ont. - Malcolm Subban stopped 34-of-35 shots as the Belleville Bulls downed the host Kitchener Rangers 3-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Garrett Hoouey had a goal and an assist for the Bulls (17-9-4) while Carter Sandlak and Brendan Gaunce each scored once.
Ben Thomson had the lone goal for the Rangers (18-9-3), who lost for just the third time in regulation on home ice in 15 outings.
Franky Palazzese turned away 37 shots in a losing cause for Kitchener.
Neither club had any success on the power play as the Bulls went 0 for 6 while the Rangers failed to score on seven chances with the man advantage.
