Greenaway scores winner as the Frontenacs edge the Battalion

KINGSTON, Ont. - Darcy Greenaway scored the winning goal 36 seconds into the third period as the Kingston Frontenacs edged the visiting Brampton Battalion 4-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Cody Alcock, Samuel Schutt and Sam Bennett also scored for the Frontenacs (16-13-1) while Slater Doggett chipped in with two assists.

Brandon Robinson, Patrik Machac and Jamie Lewis scored for the Battalion (14-13-5).

Mike Morrison stopped 25-of-27 shots for the win as Matej Machovsky turned aside 29 shots in a losing cause.

Neither club could score with the man advantage as Kingston went 0 for 3 and Brampton went 0 for 2 with the man advantage.
