KENT, Wash. - Brandon Glover made 37 saves as the Seattle Thunderbirds doubled up the visiting Kelowna Rockets 4-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Brendan Rouse, Shea Theodore, Seth Swenson and Roberts Lipsbergs each scored for the Thunderbirds (13-13-1) while Justin Hickman and Connor Sanvido had two assists apiece.
Myles Bell had a goal and an assist for the Rockets (17-9-2), who had their five-game winning streak halted, and Rourke Chartier scored the other.
Jackson Whistle turned away 27-of-31 shots in a losing cause.
Seattle went 1 for 2 on the power play while Kelowna failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
