Rattie with two points as the Winterhawks down the Silvertips

EVERETT, Wash. - Ty Rattie had a goal and an assist as the Portland Winterhawks downed the host Everett Silvertips 4-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Derrick Pouliot, Brendan Leipsic and Tyler Wotherspoon also scored for the Winterhawks (22-4-1), who have won six games in a row and 16 of their last 17.

Cole MacDonald scored the lone goal for the Silvertips (11-18-2), who trailed 4-0 after 40 minutes of play.

Brendan Burke made 29 saves for the win as Daniel Cotton turned aside 30 shots in a losing cause.

Portland went 1 for 5 on the power play while Everett failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
